Audion Silver Night Anniversary Parallel single ended 2A3 mono-block is our  intermediate level power amplifier, using the lesser known 2A3 tubes. This amplifier is hand built and point to point hard wired using solid silver 5 *9's in some of the audio path. Wherever possible the components are sourced from Europe and the USA and avoiding inferior Chinese components.

This triode based mono-block amp uses no (zero) feedback in the design. The chassis is black powder coated aluminum as is the transformer cover. The top plate and badge are mirror finished stainless steel.

Amplifier matching

The PSE is often referred to as a data retrieval machine, we prefer to think that it is not too analytical, but very clean and musical and very transparent. The 2A3 even more so, with 4 more active supply stages to ensure quietness, speed and resolution, the Silver Night is aimed at very efficient speakers and quality, tonality and musicality

The Silver Night Parallel single ended amplifier comes with either Sovtek or Electro Harmonix 2A3's but can also be made with 300B or PX25 tubes upon request. This amp is best suited for use with loudspeakers of 94db or better efficiency. Ideally matched with our range of Electron cables. The amps deliver 9 watts into 8 ohms from a 2A3. Quality both inside and out

Having a volume control on the front and mono inputs on the rear means that a pre-amplifier is not necessary with this unit, but is advised . These amps are all auto biased. It will take almost any 2A3 with a UX4 base(Unit is supplied with either Sovtek or Electro Harmonix 2A3 tubes).The Silver Night Anniversary Parallel single ended amplifier 2A3 Class A power amplifier has 4 & 8 ohm outputs and mono inputs.

The Silver Night Parallel single ended amplifier is hard wired (Air Wired©) Class A mono-block power amplifier. It is built with components sourced from Europe and the US. Where possible we avoid the use of any Chinese component. Our output transformers are wound in-house to our exacting standards and many of the components are either made by us or specifically for us. We use either Sovtek or Electro Harmonix 2A3 and Russian New old stock 6H23N as a driver and input tubes.  This amp is designed for power and musicality.
